Garters at the request of Her Majesty Ariel

This evening I had opportunity to speak with BDR (Rory), Catherine Anne, and Her Majesty about the Great Garter gig. It has been asked that we only use the thread/yarn provided by Catherine Anne and BDR so as to have a more uniform color. There should be someone in an area reasonably near you that is a liaison and should have some materials. While the directions that we were given at Coronation say the stripes shall run "purple, gold, purple, it has been decided (by HRM Ariel) that we go on to finish any that we may have started. But the "next batch" should be woven as follows: 2cards purple, 2 cards gold, 2 cards purple, 2 cards gold, 2 cards purple and use purple as the weft. They are to be 1/2 inch wide. It has also been determined that the previous agreed upon length may not be long enough. Weave as little as 30 inches or as much as your loom may hold. If your threads twist so much that you must turn, do not be concerned - it'll be ok, go ahead and turn where it is needed. It will have little effect on the finished project.
