Calontir Fiber Guild - This is the e-newsletter and e-mail discussion list for members of the Calontir Fiber and Needle Guild, within the Society for Creative Anachronism.
An Tir Spinner's List - a list for the discussion, in detail, of spinning, dyeing, weaving and other fiber arts within the context of SCA. Suitable subjects are: book recommendations and comments upon these, technical questions about fiber, discussions of the merits (or lack thereof) or various types of equipment or materials available, requests for help with research in period textiles and their uses, searches for sources for modern supplies and equipment, announcements of meetings and workshops, and anything else that may occur to list members within these guides.
SCA-Card-Weaving List - A SCA focused list for the discussion of historical Tablet/Card Weaving. Heavy overlap with tablet weaving list below).
Historic Needlework List - a list for the discussion of historical needlework .This includes, but is not limited to, embroidery, knitting, crochet, tatting, netting, lace making. Excluded are spinning, weaving, quilting, and machined techniques (such as machine knitting). Currently the list includes all time periods. Although sponsored and maintained by SCA members, this list not an SCA-only list. Please do not use SCA specific terminology.
Tablet Weaving List - a non-SCA list that focuses any type of tablet weaving. It is run by TWIST (Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques). Please do not use SCA specific terminology.
SCA Weaving List - Share information on early/Middle Ages/Renaissance weaving and its re-creation. Includes re-creation in the Society for Creative Anachronism, but anyone with an interest in medieval/Renaissance weaving is very welcome. Floor loom, table loom, warp-weighted loom, tapestry, etc.
Historic Costuming List - a non-SCA list for the discussion of historical clothing. Accessories and embellishments on clothing are also discussed. All time periods and places are discussed, with strong emphasis on 16th-19th century western clothing. Please do not use SCA specific terminology. To subscribe to the list, go to the website and look in the section labeled "Lists maintained outside Ansteorra". On the fourth line down, scroll to H-Costume and click options. This will take you to a subscribe page.
SCA Garb list - The purpose of this page is to create a showcase for the talented clothiers, costumers, seamstresses and tailors of the SCA to share their articles, class handouts, book reviews, and pictures of their work.
