Welcome to the website for the Calontir Fiber and Needle Guild. We are a group of people interested in the re-creation of medieval and renaissance fiber and needle crafts. We are located in the SCA Kingdom of Calontir (Kansas, Missouri, most of Nebraska, most of Iowa and the NW corner of Arkansas).
Our members have varied interests from weaving and tailoring to embroidery and basketry and any other aspects of fiber and needle arts. We gather regularly at SCA events to share our enthusiasm for fiber and needle crafts. We also organize classes and demonstrations for the annual Lilies War. Regularly in winter we gather at a member’s home to share in a retreat atmosphere.
Guild membership is only requires interest, not skill. Even the most skilled artisans started with interest prior to gaining skill. Please explore our site and join us at our next meeting or on our mailing list.

Greetings and Salutations,
For those who do not know me, I'm known by many as Galla Zandra and am the new web minister for this site. As such, I have plans to renovate the site as time permits and really appreciate any and all comments on the changes. Plans include a new portal site to be created, which will give everyone much more freedom to take part in helping to create a better site for all!
I would like to thank HL Cara Wythers for being our web minister. Like her, I will be collecting and including on pictures and articles by members, for the web site. If you have any suggestions, questions or items to add, please send me an email or seek me out at events. I always enjoy the company of friends!
