A fiber retreat is a chance for those who have an interest in anything to do with fiber (spinning, weaving, dying, needlework, knitting, etc) to gather and talk shop. Everyone brings their current project to work on. Some people run both planned and unplanned 'classes' on whatever it is they are doing. Wearing garb is optional. You do NOT have to be a member of the guild to come. You do need to tolerate fiber arts talk - which there will be plenty of! Come join in the excitement! Hal and kids will be around so it's definitely not limited to just those who 'fiber' but to their entire families!

If you're planning on coming, I would appreciate advance notice to make sure of your space requirements and to get a general idea of head count. Even if you're not planning on staying overnight, it can help with food planning.

I recommend that you bring your own seating since I can't guarantee chairs for everyone.
