October 12th, 2002 (Coronation)

The event which is to be renamed Kris Kensor (by order of His Majesty) which is to take place on December the 14th of this year in Kansas City will be sponsoring a demo which will include fiberarts. Johanne of Fishergate will be coordinating this and has asked that we bring and demonstrate implements of fiber arts.

The next Calontir Fiber Guild Retreat will January 25th in Columbia, MO at the home of Aoibheann.

Members of the Fiber Guild are asked to begin thinking of possible projects that could be taken up by the fiber guild. Ideas mentioned at meeting were: Something that could be auctioned off to the benefit of guild or kingdom, place settings and napkins for Their Majesties, largess... Members are encouraged to bring up and discuss ideas on the Calontir Fiber Guild email list. More disscussion at the next fiber guild meeting.

The subject of projects for Lilies was brought up. The past couple of years, members have made bags which were given to Their Majesties as largess. An idea brought up was to have members make fiber things and have an exchange at Lilies. More discussiong at the next meeting.

HL Cassandra di Capelletti will be stepping down as Guild Head as it poses a conflict of interest with her position of Kingdom Minister of Arts & Sciences. Stepping up is Luzia who will be our guild head until elections for the office at the next Lilies War.
